Kanika Goyal was born in the year 1999 in Kaithal district of Haryana state. Kanika’s father’s name is Lakshmi Chand Goyal, who is a grocery supplier. His mother’s name is Neelam Goyal, he is a housewife. Kanika Goyal is the only child of her parents.

Kanika Goyal had her early education in Kaithal, from where she passed her 10th and 12th exams from Hindu Girls Senior Secondary School. During class 7 Kanika Goyal was introduced to civil services for the first time and at that time she decided to become an IAS officer. That’s why Kanika Goyal completed her studies in the Humanities stream in Intermediate. Kanika came to Delhi after 12th and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College here.

In the year 2022, she appeared in the UPSC exam for the second time and got All India 9th rank through her hard work and consistency.
