SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2023

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be of a qualifying nature. According to the SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 for the Tier 1 Exam, there will be four parts of 25 questions each. Of all the sections in SSC CGL Tier-1, the English section will be only in English. SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

Paper I will be held on the same day in two sessions – Session I and Session II – and is required of all applicants who pass Paper 1. Session I will consist of running Sections I and II, as well as Module I of Section III. Module II of Section III will be conducted during Session II. It will be necessary for applicants to pass all parts of Paper I.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2023 Tier 2

After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice exam, except for Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section III of Paper I.

Though the part will be asked in the Tier-1 Exam, the level and kind of questions will be different and slightly milder than in the first stage. English Language & Comprehension – This component of the SSC CGL Tier-2 Syllabus will be used to assess English language fluency. To do well in this area of the Tier-2 Exam, you must have a basic understanding of the English language in terms of the following themes. The reading comprehension curriculum is not specific and is included in the syllabus to test applicants’ fast responses to circumstances.

Penalty for wrong answers

Giving a wrong answer to a question will lead to a deduction of 0.5 marks in the Tier–I exam.
In Tier II, there will be a negative marking of 1 for each wrong answer in Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III.
