On May 23, 2023, the final results of the Civil Services Examination for the year 2022 were released by the Union Public Service Commission. Mayur Hazarika Biography, Family

Mayur Hazarika was born in Tezpur district of Assam state. His father’s name is Mr. Krishna Hazarika, who is an executive engineer in Public Works Department (P.W.D.). His mother name is Mrs. Moushumi Hazarika and she was a housewife. Mayur Hazarika has secured 5th rank in the Civil Services Examination 2023 conducted by UPSC.

Mayur Hazarika’s early education started from Don Bosco High School in Nagaon district and he received higher secondary education from Ramanujan Junior College in Tezpur district. After completing his 12th standard, Mayur joined the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati, from where he obtained his MBBS degree and became a doctor. In May 2021 during Covid-19 Pandemic, Mayur Hazarika joined the National Health Mission in Assam as a Medical Officer.

During his preparation for MBBS, he developed an interest in foreign affairs and international relations; hence Mayur has given his first preference to the Indian Foreign Service.
